Parmesan Garlic Chicken Wings

One of my favorite appetizers is Parmesan Garlic Chicken Wings. Not only are they a crowd favorite, they’re also incredibly easy to make. Not including cooking time, prep time can be as low as 5 minutes (buying pre-cut wings and shredded parm)
You can air fry these, or if you’re making a big batch, use the oven.
COATING: Put equal mounts of flour and corn starch into a container with a lid. 1/4 cup of each is fine for a small batch. You can use almond flour if you like. Add your seasonings. I use a couple tablespoons of Kevin’s Creole seasoning (Tony’s is fine). Grind in some black pepper and a teaspoon or so of garlic powder. Mix well, add the chicken and toss until everything is well coated. I like to buy the pre-cut chicken and the fresh grated parm. This removes two steps.
Air fryer…I use a rotating basket, 35 minutes at 44°. No oil needed.
Oven…Cover a baking sheet with foil. Place the chicken, spray with oil. Flip, spray lightly again. Put into a pre-heated oven at 425°. Flipo after 20 minutes and continue to cook another 20 minutes.
Fine chop a couple handfuls of fresh parsley and add it to a covered bowl with about half a cup (or slightly more) of fine grated parm. Fortunately my hydroponic parsley batch is going crazy this winter. I sprinkle in some more garlic powder. I also throw a tablespoon of dried parsley flakes in to round out the flavor. But use fresh fine minced if you want a powerful garlic pop. When the chicken is done, add it to the parm/parsly mix, cover and toss well. Season with garlic salt if you want to bring up the saltiness and garlic.
Put the cover back on and head to your party!
